Here's your Prep Talk!

Hey there!

We're excited to have you in the studio!  To help you feel confident and prepared, here's a quick list of things to keep in mind before the shoot

WHAT TO DO:

  • Drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your shoot
  • We recommend light neck, shoulder, torso, hip and wrist stretches in the days leading up to your shoot; this warmup prepares your body for the poses, boosts your confidence and reduces anxiety
  • Find inspiration on Pinterest; images are original, diverse and creative

WHAT TO KNOW:

  • Sessions are time-sensitive; please arrive a few minutes early as your time slot begins upon your arrival
  • If you wish to add more participants, or a la carte items during your session, immediate payment will be required
  • Our studio is located on a residential property; please be respectful

WHAT TO BRING:

  • Depending on the package you chose, 1-3 full outfits (with varying styles: casual, elevated, statement, etc)
  • Comfortable outfit(s), without wrinkles, stains etc
  • Accessories - jewelry, watch(es), hat(s), sunglasses or anything else that would add personality
  • Clean shoes - bring a few options or go barefoot for some looks
  • Undergarments - avoid ones that will show through, or create lines

HOW TO LOOK:

  • Arrive well-groomed (hair done, face moisturized, nails neat)
  • Avoid experimenting with new skincare in the days before the shoot
  • Bring touch-up items; lip balm, oil blotters, hairbrush, etc

HOW TO THINK

  • Get plenty of rest the night before; show up energized, hydrated, and ready to have fun!
  • Be confident; you don't need to be a model - we'll guide you every step of the way
  • Trust the process - even small movements can create powerful images
